Hallomaniaaa...and Ana!

So the residences are going nuts with Halloween decorations. Im in my room trying to study and the girls next to me are SCREAMING their heads off on how excited their new decorations look. Cmaaaann their decorations, I know your giddy and all but screaming for ten minutes straight...ITS A FREAKIN PUMPKIN. I thought Id take my procrastination time and talk to you about my roommate Ana who I havent talked about before...because I am a self centered blog whore. Ive known her for 4 years, shes amazing, dont touch. Yesterday she came in the room and decided she "wanted to measure the beds to see if they fit against the window". So at 2:30 yesterday morning, we rearranged our whole room by putting the beds together and against the window, thus leaving space for a cool chill area, fridge and chairs included. Its pretty cool, dont hate. In two days is my last exam, thank the sun (as my boyfriend says). This weekend is going to make people jealous...but I wont mention that until ...well closer to the weekend! Here are my library outfits from Saturday and Sunday.-jessica diana

hello to hallucinations .

So every time I look over I keep seeing something moving. Now im positive that something underneath me is moving, looked like some kind of shadow. It took my 2 hours to realize that it was the shadow from my pull strings on my sweater. Yes life of a university student is grand. What happened today? Oh i lost my mind..kinda..sorta ...a bit. Read my horoscope this morning, telling me that nothing was going to go my way today, but i showed that horoscope whos boss!...NOOOTT. Not only did 12 out of the 28 photos on my disposable camera turn out, but all 3 of my pens ran out of ink, THREE!!! So i was forced to write with a highlighter, which I then lost by the end of the day. I got assigned a 12 page essay due in a few days not to mention the strap on my favourite bag, the bag I use to go to class everyday, BROKE. Yessiirrreee bob it broke! So I was forced to walk around all day clutching my bag for dear life. Now its 1 in the morning, I brewed another few cups of coffee and im planning on staking it out like a big girl, the time has come to get to work! Here is todays outfit, Ana wasnt in the room this morning so I was forced to take them of myself- jessica diana

Procrastination

Procrastination is the key to success....imagine? HA id be the most successful person out there. Kids dont procrastinate...who am I kidding now im a hypocrite? Sorry for the lack of posts this weekend, I was busy doing important things such as watching where the wild things are and paranormal activity, not to mention hanging out with the coolest guy in the world. Oh! And ive decided to be Max from where the wild things are, I gotta make my costume out of scratch, but its better than a fire fighter or some skanky devil right?....right? Or am I supposed to be sluty for the sake of it being Halloween? Comments? Anyway here is an outfit from Friday, i'll start again tomorrow...possibly if i feel like even getting dressed. You see I have 2 mid terms, 2 essays and an assignment due within the next few days....what would happen if I just walked to class naked? Literally, what, the cops would come? By then id make my impression, good enough for me id say. Unfortunately for you that wouldnt be blogged...but Id live to tell the story. OK im done now, cheers to all nighters, caffeine and complete loss of sanity- jessica diana

Crunch time

All is hell here on campus. Mid terms are under away, one of which I have on Friday...and here I am blogging. May I recommend this amazing program that I just discovered its called Rescue Time. ( https://www.rescuetime.com) Here are 3 reasons why you should get it:

1) You can block any distracting sites, i.e facebook, youtube, twitter, for as long as you want while wanting to concentrate
2) It gives you a progress report everyday on how much time your spending distracting and how much time your being productive, AND it narrows it down for you, (literally saying you spent ___ amount of time on microsoft word, and _____ amount of time on facebook)
3) If you leave your computer it asks you where youve been, and it also reminds you if your spending too much time on distractings

PURE GENIUS. I gave the link above, I can tell you im doing a lot better at my stuff because of it. Anyway here is le outfit-jessica diana

First post- hello

Ok so im new at this whole fashion blogging thing, although I am a fashion blog whore. With some convincing of friends, I have decided to make my own fashion blog, more for myself than anyone else. If no one ever goes on this, god bless you and I hope you have a swell life! If you do decide to reference this, well welcome to my world of chaos. For those of you who dont know me, I am living in a dorm room, which probably means ill be taking most of the pictures myself, sorry for the grotesque quality. If your asking what "Palais de Challiot" is, its a palace in Paris, and if im feeling generous ill post a link after the post...

Skirt: H&M $30
Belt: H&M $12
Tights: American Apparel-..forgot how much
Green Sweater: H&M $22
Cardigan- Urban Outfitters $80

Pictures of the Palace that I named the blog after, I know brilliant. Went to Paris and I completely forgot to go here, now everytime I see pictures I take it as a sign that I was a complete failure of a tourist. Ces la vie, right?

Riders on the storm

Today I go back to Toronto...thank GAWWWDD. Dont get me wrong, London is great and everything, but I do miss my friends and boyfriend, or "flame" as my parents call it. Not to mention my CITY! Downtown how am I going to ever live without you? My train was due at 8:00 here and to arrive at 11:00 in Toronto. Heres what I wore on the train, very comfy, great success.I got a lot of reading done, not to mention writing, and I met some new friends...cant remember their names, thats alright. One guy...lets call him George, taught me how to properly drink tea! His dad is a tea fanatic or something of the sort. Anyway, your supposed to put the milk in before you put in the tea...crazy right? Something about how the water dilutes the milk...its all Chinese to me, but it works, tea tasted great! -jessica diana
