Wake Up

I am determined to listen to all of Rolling Stones top 100 albums of the decade by the the time summer hits (no people I do not believe in downloading music) so that leaves me to grooveshark and youtube to listen to the songs. Tonight I'm listening to Wilco and the Arcade Fire, two great bands for two great albums. This weekend is a fashion show as well in which im the stylist for, which is getting hectic because everything is down to the wire, but its great fun. I discoverd this new store downtown London which reminds me of a store youd see in Kensington Market (for you Toronto natives). Ill put a couple pictures up, its called "Mesh", quite great, a little over priced...ok really over priced but the stuff is cute, especially their accessories! I have an exam tomorrow that Im not close to being prepared for, but then again, am I ever? Im going through a phase of watching 80s movies while eating dinner/ procrastinating. This week alone Ive watched Heathers, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, (how great is Molly Ringwald...I mean really!?) The Graduate, Say Antything and Sixteen Candles. Going to be quite blunt and say the styling was really rad in The Heathers, definite Mean girls of their time. You should check it out...it gets a little extreme (talking about the plot not the clothes) but its good while it lasts.

Oh what has become of me?

Sorry everyone for not blogging in a while, Ive been in a sort of rut you see. Ive been preoccupied with school and new friends and my social life, rather than my own. I feel like I'm on auto pilot. Maybe its school, maybe its the lousy winter weather, or maybe its simply confusion? Confusion about the future...do any of you have those days? I also miss the boy in my life, who I'll hopefully see tomorrow. My friends at home as well definitely own half of my heart and I miss hearing their voices everyday. Right now im listening to a song called "So Far From Me" by Brett Dennen. Hes super great, kinda a Bob Dylan feel, very sunny, airy acoustic stuff. Check him out for realz. Anyhow, Ive been horrible in this picture a day thing, I definitely need to get back on track. Here are some pictures from this past week, Id say around last Saturday to this past Saturday. I havent been taking pictures everyday once again, I apologize I'll start again tomorrow. I just officially signed for my own house the other day as well, so in May I move in with the greatest girls in the world. I have a picture of them below. As well, a new discovery of mine, american apparel v neck as a dress? YESSIIR. If you get a really big v neck from aa, (im using my boyfriends) and use the "v" part where your chest is, wrap the sleeves around your back and tie, and WALA a really cute sweetheart dress! LONG time no..type?

Hey everyone! I apologize for the MIA the last few weeks. Exams have been crazy, the holidays were crazier more so. I spent only a few days at home and then I was off to spend new years in New York. Oh how I miss it there. Anyhow, here are a couple of photographs from some outfits and such over the break. Lets all remember that is is December, so a lot of my outdoor outfits required a coat...which makes me super sad. I dont like coats much....they cover up everything. Anyhow I havent developed the roll of disposable film from New Years yet so Ill get on that.  Nothing too crazy, i didnt capture a lot however I will try to find some off of friends and such. I DID however, try to keep my holiday challenge going...and I think for the most part I succeeded! That being said, I want you all to email me a picture or pictures, of outfits you pulled off with festive colours, please do? Im tres interested! Hope all is well in the new year, happy snowstorms. -jessica diana
